Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid, with the blessing of President Obama, has said he wants a Cap-and-Trade bill by the end of July. He has informed his committee chairs to look for every possible way to extract more punishing taxes from energy producers -- who will be forced to lay off workers or pass along the higher costs to consumers, already staggered by the Obama Democrats' economy-crippling dithering and spending.
