Funny...I'm pretty sure that technology, blogs, etc, were exactly what got him elected in the first place...but NOW that it is being used to show what his agenda REALLY is he says, "...information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation. So all...of this is not only putting pressure on you; it's putting new pressure on our country and on our democracy." NOW we are starting to worry about the country and our democracy?!?!?! Pretty sure that's already on the way out the door!

I just love the hypocrisy on this one.. The first president we have that refused to give up his blackberry, who also gave the Queen an iPod loaded with his speeches is now saying this. His problem isn't with information per say but wrong information aka anything that goes against the progressive movement...last I checked this is still America and not China, though granted we are sure on a slippery slope in that direction
Right...his problem is with the technology movement, the spreading of information and TRUTH is a million times easier which makes it that much harder for politicians to get bull shit policies and bills past the American people...let alone themselves.
